Uncharted 4: A Thiefs End Multiplayer Gameplay - First Impressions

00:00:18.119unfortunately won't quite fit in my

00:00:19.920laptop bag I cry every time so there's

00:00:22.619two maps to showcase here and sadly we

00:00:25.199only got to play team deathmatch on them

00:00:26.910but that's exactly the same content that

00:00:29.310you'll get to play in the multiplayer

00:00:31.080beta which is coming up pretty soon I

00:00:33.360think it's actually out today now I've

00:00:35.309played all three Uncharted games on ps3

00:00:38.040when they were released and charted - is

00:00:40.950clearly the best by the way when Charlie

00:00:43.379three was good but it just didn't have

00:00:45.450the same impact and wow factor that

00:00:47.820number two left me with because it was

00:00:50.070such a big jump from the first one to

00:00:51.960the second one and at the time there was

00:00:53.879just nothing else like it around on ps3

00:00:56.370or xbox 360 and the child 1 is okay but

00:01:01.109by today's standards some of the

00:01:03.510gameplay mechanics are a bit rough

00:01:05.909around the edges I digress

00:01:07.979so uncharted 4 has multiplayer

00:01:10.520unsurprisingly as did uncharted 2 and 3

00:01:14.280it always kind of felt tacked on to me

00:01:16.259though in those games a bit of an

00:01:17.700afterthought not to say that it was bad

00:01:19.470though I did play it for a little bit

00:01:21.240but it was never enough to hold my

00:01:23.939attention there wasn't enough depth

00:01:26.729there in my opinion and it's just that

00:01:28.650you don't really play Uncharted games

00:01:51.540fun with it the controls are tight the

00:01:53.939game runs at 1080p 60fps in multiplayer

00:02:34.280you're a fan of the Uncharted games

00:02:36.320you'll know that it's always had an

00:02:37.670element of the supernatural in it it

00:02:40.100isn't completely grounded in reality

00:02:41.780it's kind of like an Indiana Jones vibe

00:03:16.130revolver for example that deals a lot of

00:03:18.650damage but only has six shots or a

00:03:21.400shotgun that's just absolutely

00:03:23.420devastating at close range and then you

00:03:26.450get into the mystical 's this one is a

00:03:28.430teapot or I like to call it the teapot

00:03:30.860anyways it's it's more like a genies

00:03:32.480lamp that makes you run really fast and

00:03:34.520set you on fire and you can dash around

00:03:36.140with it oh there's the cincinnati stone

00:03:38.120or this one the wrath of El Dorado which

00:03:40.880spawns a totem that fires out purple

00:03:43.850balls of death at your enemies you get

00:03:46.160the idea you score points you buy

00:03:51.590little bit there is an element of team

00:03:53.630play in here as well TDM in a lot of

00:03:56.060games is just play for yourself and

00:03:58.520don't care about your teammates but you

00:03:59.930can support your teammates if they go

00:04:03.410throw a med packs at them if you're

00:04:04.790playing as a support character so it

00:04:06.890does have that going for it you can also

00:04:08.750do this swing around everywhere with the

00:04:10.790grappling hook you basically spider-man

00:04:12.680as far as I can tell when you've got

00:04:14.600this thing you can swing around you can

00:04:16.489swing and shoot if you like if you like

00:04:49.879and TDM the gameplay is nice and

00:04:52.490rewarding it feels fine I'm just sad
